PEN CD-DNST TCHR-PEACE CORPS                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Downstate Teacher  Article  of  the  Pension  Code  to      
   define  "military  service"  to  include  service  in the Peace Corps.      
   Effective immediately.                                                      
          PENSION IMPACT NOTE                                                  
          The fiscal impact of HB 580 will be minor.
