Requires the Department to notify the public of applications for licensure. Effective immediately. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Child Care Act of 1969 to require the Department of Children and Family Services to notify the public of certain changes in the services and persons served at licensed child care institutions, maternity centers, and group homes in a newspaper of general circulation.
