House Sponsors: SCOTT. Short description: INC TX-TX CHECKOFF-CNTR LIVING Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the State Finance Act and the Illinois Income Tax Act. Creates a tax checkoff for the Network Centers for Independent Living Fund. Amends the Disabled Person Rehabilitation Act. Requires the Department to use moneys deposited in the Network Centers for Independent Living Fund to support centers for independent living that are eligible to receive funds under Title VII of the federal 1973 Rehabilitation Act. Requires the centers to comply with certain standards and to provide certain assurances to be eligible to receive moneys from the Fund.
