Short description: 
VEH CD-BAN-MOTORCYCLE-HOME RUL                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code.  Provides that banning the  use      
   of  motorcycles on any public roadway in a county with a population of      
   more than 2,000,000 is an exclusive power and function of  the  State.      
   Preempts home rule units with a population of more than 2,000,000.          
          STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE                                           
          In the opinion of DCCA, HB1062 fails to create a State mandate.      
          FISCAL NOTE (IDOT)                                                   
          There will be no fiscal impact from this bill.                       
          HOME RULE NOTE                                                       
          HB 1062 does not preempt home rule authority.
