Short description: 
CD CORR-TRUTH IN SENTENCING                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Unified Code of Corrections.  Provides that a prisoner      
   serving sentence  for  aggravated  battery,  aggravated  stalking,  or      
   aggravated  criminal  sexual abuse committed on or after the effective      
   date of the amendatory Act shall receive no more than 4.5 days of good      
   conduct credit for each month of his or her sentence of imprisonment.       
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Provides that the maximum good time of 4.5 days per month applies      
   to the offenses of second degree murder and aggravated battery causing      
   great bodily harm instead of all aggravated battery.
