Short description: 
IMPOUND-SEIZE CAR-LCNS SUSPEND                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code and the Criminal Code  of  1961.      
   Provides  that a person convicted for driving while his or her license      
   was suspended under provisions concerning  suspension  of  a  driver's      
   license  of a person under the age of 21 years for driving while under      
   the influence  shall  serve  a  minimum  term  of  imprisonment  of  7      
   consecutive  days  or  30  days of community service. Provides for the      
   seizure or impoundment of a vehicle used in  a  violation  of  certain      
   provisions  concerning  driving while a license or permit is suspended      
   or revoked and provides for requirements concerning  the  seizure  and      
   impoundment.    Amends  the  Criminal  Code  of 1961 to provide that a      
   vehicle used in an offense prohibited by certain provisions concerning      
   involuntary  manslaughter  and  reckless  homicide,  driving  while  a      
   license or permit is suspended or revoked, and driving while under the      
   influence of alcohol or drugs may be seized.  Effective immediately.
