Senate Sponsors: SIEBEN Short description: AUCTIONEER LIC ACT Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Creates the Auctioneer Licensing Act to regulate auctioneers through licensing requirements. Preempts home rule units from regulating auctioneers in a manner less restrictive than the Act. Amends the Regulatory Agency Sunset Act to repeal the Auctioneer Licensing Act on January 1, 2009. Amends the State Finance Act to add the Auctioneer Licensing Fund and the Auctioneer Education, Research, and Recovery Fund. Effective January 1, 1999. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: 5 ILCS 80/4.19 new 30 ILCS 105/5.480 new 30 ILCS 105/5.481 new Deletes all substantive provisions. Provides a short title only.
