Provides that the Violent Crimes Advisory Commission shall include, as additional members, an administrator and a student at a public institution of higher education. Effective immediately. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Grants the Attorney General the power to appoint to the Violent Crimes Advisory Commission one person who is employed as an administrator at a private institution of higher education and one person who is enrolled as a student at a private institution of higher education. Now the bill limits the appointment to a person employed as an administrator or enrolled at a public institution of higher education.
