CHECKING ACCTS $100 TO OPEN                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Consumer Deposit Account  Act.   Provides  that  basic      
   checking accounts shall be available to all persons, not only those 65      
   years of age or older.                                                      
          FISCAL NOTE (Office of Banks and Real Estate)                        
          No fiscal impact for the Office of Banks and Real Estate.
