Short description: USE OCC TXS-FARM MACHINE-EQUIP Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Use Tax Act, the Service Use Tax Act, the Service Occupation Tax Act, and the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Provides that the exemption for farm machinery and equipment shall also apply to implements of husbandry, farm machinery and agricultural chemical and fertilizer spreaders, and nurse wagons required to be registered under the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that for purposes of the exemption, farm machinery and equipment includes certain precision farming equipment and computers, sensors, software, and related equipment used primarily in the computer-assisted operation of production agriculture facilities, equipment, and activities. Provides that the exemption is exempt from the sunset provisions. Effective immediately.
