Senate Sponsors: RADOGNO. Short description: PEN CD-CHGO POL-OCCUP DISAB Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Chicago Police Article of the Pension Code. Provides that the City shall pay the required employee contributions for periods during which a policeman receives an occupational disease disability benefit. Inserts references to occupational disease disability benefits in certain Sections relating to proof of eligibility and the duty disability reserve. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission) SB 1822 would have no fiscal impact.
