91_HB1538enr HB1538 Enrolled LRB9103651SMdv 1 AN ACT regarding emergency home response systems. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Illinois Act on the Aging is amended by 5 adding Section 8.07 as follows: 6 (20 ILCS 105/8.07 new) 7 Sec. 8.07. Emergency home response system. Upon initial 8 determination or any redetermination for eligibility for 9 community care program services provided by the Department on 10 Aging, the Department shall make a determination of need as 11 to whether the applicant or recipient of services is in need 12 of an emergency home response system.
