1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2909
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2909, on page 1,
3 line 19, after "customers." by inserting "The label shall be
4 located on the front or sides of the dispenser and within the
5 top 30 percent of the height of the dispenser. On a
6 dual-faced dispenser, the label shall be affixed on each
7 front or each side in accordance with these requirements.
8 With respect to the methanol derivative MTBE, the labels
9 shall state: "CONTAINS (insert percentage)% METHYL TERTIARY
10 BUTYL ETHER (MTBE).""; and
11 on page 1, line 21, by replacing "methanol and ethanol" with
12 "methanol, and ethanol, and the methanol derivative MTBE";
13 and
14 on page 1, line 31, by replacing "ethanol or methanol" with
15 "ethanol, or methanol, or the methanol derivative MTBE"; and
16 on page 2, immediately after line 7, by inserting the
17 following:
18 "(e) With respect to the methanol derivative MTBE, the
19 labeling and notification requirements in this Section shall
20 be enforced beginning 60 days after the effective date of
21 this amendatory Act of the 91st General Assembly.".
