1 AN ACT to amend the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois
2 by adding Section 605-75.5.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6 amended by adding Section 605-75.5 as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 605/605-75.5 new)
8 Sec. 605-75.5. Economic development training. The
9 Department shall develop and implement a statewide voluntary
10 program of training for elected officials of units of local
11 government in the promotion of, participation in, and
12 administration of local and regional economic development.
13 The Department shall adopt rules for the implementation of
14 this Section.
