BOLAND-GARRETT-GASH-FLOWERS-HARRIS. 320 ILCS 25/4 from Ch. 67 1/2, par. 404 Amends the Senior Citizens and Disabled Persons Property Tax Relief and Pharmaceutical Assistance Act. Provides that, beginning in 2001, the grant will be available to individuals 55 years of age or older (now 65 years of age or older). Increases the household income limit from $16,000 to $20,000 for grant year 2000 and thereafter. Provides that the household income limitation for the grant shall be subject to annual adjustments equal to the percentage of increase in the previous year in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers for all items published by the United States Department of Labor. Deletes the limitation that a grant under this Act may not exceed $700 less 4.5% of annual household income.
