        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.
          Adds reference to:
          35 ILCS 200/21-105
          35 ILCS 200/22-15
Deletes everything. Amends the Property Tax Code. In provisions
authorizing the county board to institute a civil action for the whole
amount due for taxes and special assessments on the delinquent or
forfeited property after final judgement and order of sale against the
delinquent property has been entered, provides that the county board
institutes the action as trustee for all taxing districts having an
interest in the property's taxes or special assessments. In a Section
providing that certain provisions voiding all unpaid property taxes
for certain taxing districts that acquire property as a result of the
owner's failure to pay taxes does not relieve any owner liable for
those taxes, expands this language to include the acquisition of
property by taxing districts under yet another provision. In a
Section authorizing the notice of expiration of the period of
redemption to be served by a special process server appointed by the
circuit court in lieu of service by the sheriff or coroner in counties
of 3,000,000 or more inhabitants where a taxing district is a
petitioner for a tax deed, expands those who may avail themselves of
this provision to include any county board that is petitioner for a
   tax deed. Effective immediately.
FISCAL NOTE, H-AM 1 (Department of Revenue)
HB 3360, with H-am 1, creates no fiscal impact to the State.
