1 AN ACT concerning higher education.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The University of Illinois Trustees Act is
5 amended by changing Section 6 as follows:
6 (110 ILCS 310/6) (from Ch. 144, par. 46)
7 Sec. 6. The said University shall offer instruction in
8 such branches of learning as are related to agriculture and
9 the mechanic arts, and as are adapted to promote a liberal
10 and practical education in the several pursuits and
11 professions of life, without excluding other scientific and
12 classical studies, and including military tactics.
