1 HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION
2 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
3 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE
4 SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that we urge each member of the
5 General Assembly and each constitutional officer of the State
6 of Illinois to consider the State's financial outlook, and
7 its impact upon the State's budget, and to decline any
8 cost-of-living increase in his or her salary for the fiscal
9 year 2003 that begins July 1, 2002; and be it further
10 RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be transmitted
11 to each constitutional officer of the State of Illinois.
