Section 850.10 Definitions
"Act." Act means the Uniform Hazardous Substances Act of Illinois (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 111½, pars. 251 et seq.), as amended.
Section 850.20 Minimum Regulations
a) The Federal Hazardous Substances Act Regulations (16 CFR 1500), as amended, adopted in accordance with the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (15 U.S.C. 1261), as amended, shall be the minimum rules and regulations pursuant to the Uniform Hazardous Substances Act of Illinois. A public hearing may be requested prior to the adoption of any of these rules.
b) Copies of the Federal Hazardous Substances Act Regulations shall be on file with the Department and available therefrom.
Section 850.30 Exemptions
Exemption of Certain Articles Containing Radioactive Materials. Any article containing radioactive material that is produced, transported, stored or used in accordance with the provisions of the Radiation Protection Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 111½, pars. 211 et seq.) and the Rules and Regulations for Protection Against Radiation promulgated thereunder (32 Ill. Adm. Code: Chapter II, Subchapter b), shall be exempt from all provisions of this Act.
