SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
605 ILCS 5/4-411 new
    Amends the Illinois Highway Code. Requires the Department of Transportation, in each road district, to erect signage stating that there is loose gravel ahead at any entrance to a road consisting mainly of loose gravel.

1    AN ACT concerning transportation.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Illinois Highway Code is amended by adding 
5Section 4-411 as follows:
 
6    (605 ILCS 5/4-411 new)
7    Sec. 4-411. Loose gravel alerts. The Department, in each 
8road district, shall erect signage stating that there is loose 
9gravel ahead at any entrance to a road consisting mainly of 
10loose gravel.
