SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

Appropriates $26,282,000 from the Education Assistance Fund to the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy to meet its ordinary and contingent expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. Appropriates $5,925,000 from the IMSA Income Fund to the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy to meet its ordinary and contingent expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. Effective July 1, 2025.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The amount of $26,282,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy to meet its ordinary and contingent expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.

Section 10. The amount of $5,925,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the IMSA Income Fund to the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy to meet its ordinary and contingent expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2025.
