SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

Appropriates $25,836,049 to various State universities for the administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois Veteran Grant programs. Effective July 1, 2025.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The amount of $640,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to Chicago State University for the administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois Veteran Grant programs.

Section 10. The amount of $170,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to Governors State University for the administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois Veteran Grant programs.

Section 15. The amount of $745,225, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to Eastern Illinois University for the administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois Veteran Grant programs.

Section 20. The amount of $7,500,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to Illinois State University for the administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois Veteran Grant programs.

Section 25. The amount of $7,400,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the University of Illinois System for the administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois Veteran Grant programs.

Section 30. The amount of $395,662, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Northeastern Illinois University for the administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois Veteran Grant programs.

Section 35. The amount of $2,100,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Northern Illinois University for the administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois Veteran Grant programs.

Section 40. The amount of $5,600,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Southern Illinois University System for the administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois Veteran Grant programs.

Section 45. The amount of $1,285,162, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to Western Illinois University for the administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois Veteran Grant programs.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2025.
