Provides that each special license plate that the Secretary is required to issue to a second division vehicle weighing 8,000 pounds or less shall also be issued to a second division vehicle weighing between 8,001 and 10,000 pounds. |

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 3-600.1 as follows:

| 6 | | (625 ILCS 5/3-600.1 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 3-600.1. Special plates for Class C vehicles. Each |
| 8 | | special license plate issued under this Article that the |
| 9 | | Secretary is required to issue to a second division vehicle |
| 10 | | weighing 8,000 pounds or less shall also be issued to a second |
| 11 | | division vehicle weighing between 8,001 and 10,000 pounds. |
