| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Amanda R. Sodaro of Springfield, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on June 20, 2025; and | ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Amanda Sodaro, the daughter of Kathy Sodaro and | ||||||
| 6 | Brad Mills, was born in Springfield on August 25, 1979; and | ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Amanda Sodaro was a member of Third Presbyterian | ||||||
| 8 | Church in Springfield; and | ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Amanda Sodaro loved Hello Kitty and SpongeBob | ||||||
| 10 | SquarePants; and | ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Amanda Sodaro was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 12 | maternal grandparents, James and Judith Sodaro; her paternal | ||||||
| 13 | grandparents, Louis and Martha Mills; and her aunt, Barbara J. | ||||||
| 14 | Waid; and | ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Amanda Sodaro is survived by her parents; her | ||||||
| 16 | sister, Justine Macklin; and several aunts and uncles; | ||||||
| 17 | therefore, be it | ||||||
| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||

| 1 | Amanda R. Sodaro and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
| 2 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
