| 1 | | AN ACT concerning appropriations.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The sum of $2,950,000, or so much of that sum as |
| 5 | | may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue |
| 6 | | Fund to the Board of Higher Education to address shortages of |
| 7 | | school psychologists in this State by expanding slots in |
| 8 | | existing school psychology programs, hiring or contracting for |
| 9 | | additional faculty or supervisors, and providing tuition |
| 10 | | waivers and training stipends to students that prioritize |
| 11 | | students of color.

| 12 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 13 | | 2025. |
