| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Bradley James Lund of Springfield, who |
| 4 | | passed away on June 2, 2025; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Bradley Lund was born on April 4, 2017; from the |
| 6 | | very beginning, he was a gentle, joyful soul who was quiet and |
| 7 | | observant in new places but endlessly sweet, silly, and full |
| 8 | | of laughter at home and among those he loved most; and |
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Bradley Lund was a second grader at Glenwood |
| 10 | | Elementary School at the time of passing, where he was known |
| 11 | | for his bright smile, contagious laughter, and kind spirit; |
| 12 | | and |
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Bradley Lund delighted in the simple joys of |
| 14 | | childhood, building intricate creations with Legos and |
| 15 | | Magna-Tiles, drawing imaginative scenes, exploring the worlds |
| 16 | | of the Dog Man books, and playing video games that brought his |
| 17 | | creative mind to life; he especially loved superheroes, |
| 18 | | sharks, cars, dinosaurs, and spending time outside, where he |
| 19 | | enjoyed getting messy, exploring, and avoiding baths at all |
| 20 | | costs; and |
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Bradley Lund had a heart full of wonder and a |

| 1 | | boundless capacity for joy; he found comfort in story time |
| 2 | | snuggles with his mom, was an avid volunteer alongside his |
| 3 | | family, and brought happiness to every life he touched; and |
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Bradley Lund was known for his playful spirit, |
| 5 | | his curiosity, and the quiet joy he radiated, and he will be |
| 6 | | remembered for his legacy of love, laughter, compassion, and |
| 7 | | creativity; and |
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Bradley Lund was the youngest child of Daniel and |
| 9 | | Cynthia Lund and the younger brother of Addison, Evelyn, and |
| 10 | | Nora; therefore, be it |
| 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL |
| 12 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 13 | | Bradley James Lund and extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 14 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 15 | | further |
| 16 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 17 | | presented to the family of Bradley Lund as an expression of our |
| 18 | | deepest sympathy. |
