| 1 | SENATE RESOLUTION | ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Jack Douglas Brinkoetter of Mt. Zion, | ||||||
| 4 | who passed away on January 5, 2025; and | ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Jack Brinkoetter was born in Decatur to Theodore | ||||||
| 6 | and Jessica (Siesenop) Brinkoetter on April 23, 2014; he | ||||||
| 7 | attended Mt. Zion Intermediate School, where he was active in | ||||||
| 8 | football and basketball; he also participated in gymnastics | ||||||
| 9 | and was a very fast runner; and | ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Jack Brinkoetter enjoyed dancing and was | ||||||
| 11 | described as having the best moves while being the life of the | ||||||
| 12 | party; he was known for his sense of humor and sharing jokes | ||||||
| 13 | with family and friends; and | ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Jack Brinkoetter had a passion for hunting and | ||||||
| 15 | fishing, especially with his father and Uncle John; and | ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Jack Brinkoetter was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 17 | maternal grandfather, Glenn Siesenop; his paternal | ||||||
| 18 | grandfather, Theodore E. Brinkoetter; and his cousin, Jason | ||||||
| 19 | Brinkoetter; and | ||||||
| 20 | WHEREAS, Jack Brinkoetter is survived by his parents; his | ||||||

| 1 | brother, Jett Brinkoetter; his maternal grandmother, Jettie | ||||||
| 2 | Siesenop (Glen Calhoun); his paternal grandmother, Linda | ||||||
| 3 | Mitchell; his paternal step-grandmother, Barb Brinkoetter; his | ||||||
| 4 | paternal great-grandmother, Lorraine (Jack) Barr; his paternal | ||||||
| 5 | great-grandfather, Douglas Theroff; his aunts and uncles, | ||||||
| 6 | Derrick (Beth), Andy (Kerry), Mia (Russ), Jamie, Rhianna | ||||||
| 7 | (Adam), Tara (Tom), Timmy, Taylor (Michael), and Torie | ||||||
| 8 | (Nathan); and many cousins and friends; therefore, be it | ||||||
| 9 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 10 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 11 | Jack Douglas Brinkoetter and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
| 12 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
| 13 | further | ||||||
| 14 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 15 | presented to the family of Jack Brinkoetter as an expression | ||||||
| 16 | of our deepest sympathy. | ||||||
