| 1 | HOUSE RESOLUTION | ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Sara | ||||||
| 4 | Beth Janz; and | ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Sara Janz worked for the National Academy of | ||||||
| 6 | Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), where she was | ||||||
| 7 | instrumental in founding the NATAS Chicago/Midwest Chapter's | ||||||
| 8 | Junior Board and volunteered at many events; she was also a | ||||||
| 9 | former recipient of the NATAS Chicago Scholarship; and | ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Sara Janz was known as a kind and generous person | ||||||
| 11 | who touched everyone she met with her warmth and intelligence, | ||||||
| 12 | and she demonstrated the kind of commitment that inspired | ||||||
| 13 | those around her to strive for excellence; she will be | ||||||
| 14 | remembered for her leadership, dedication, and compassion; and | ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Sara Janz was the wife of Staff Sergeant Darien | ||||||
| 16 | Jackson; the daughter of Roz Varon and Edward Janz; and the | ||||||
| 17 | sister of Amy (Neomi Luna) Janz and Brian Janz; therefore, be | ||||||
| 18 | it | ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 20 | HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 21 | we mourn the passing of Sara Beth Janz and extend our sincere | ||||||

| 1 | condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved | ||||||
| 2 | her; and be it further | ||||||
| 3 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 4 | presented to the family of Sara Janz as an expression of our | ||||||
