| 1 | SENATE RESOLUTION | ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Rhonda Mary Krueger, who passed away | ||||||
| 4 | on October 26, 2025; and | ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Rhonda Krueger, the daughter of Ira Eugene and | ||||||
| 6 | Dorothy Mae (Closser) Beiser, was born in Carrollton on | ||||||
| 7 | February 22, 1952; she graduated from Jersey Community High | ||||||
| 8 | School in 1970; she married Gary Krueger at Delhi Baptist | ||||||
| 9 | Church on February 6, 1971; and | ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Rhonda Krueger worked as a department manager at | ||||||
| 11 | Walmart for more than 12 years, retiring in 1998; and | ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Rhonda Krueger was an avid gardener who was known | ||||||
| 13 | for her thriving vegetable garden, strawberry patches, and | ||||||
| 14 | blackberry bushes and an immaculately trimmed yard filled with | ||||||
| 15 | flowers that bloomed in every season; she also loved traveling | ||||||
| 16 | with her husband, especially their annual trips to Branson, | ||||||
| 17 | Missouri and visits to see their grandchildren; and | ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Rhonda Krueger was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 19 | parents; her brother, Donald Beiser; her brother-in-law, | ||||||
| 20 | Robert Walkington; and her cousin, Becky Beiser; and | ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, Rhonda Krueger is survived by her husband of 54 | ||||||
| 2 | years, Gary; her children, Benjamin (Lynn) Krueger, | ||||||
| 3 | Christopher Curt (Stephanie) Krueger, and Carisa (Kyle) Cook; | ||||||
| 4 | seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her siblings, | ||||||
| 5 | Peggy (Jim) Frazier and Gayle Walkington; and many extended | ||||||
| 6 | family members and friends; therefore, be it | ||||||
| 7 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 8 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 9 | Rhonda Mary Krueger and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
| 10 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
| 11 | further | ||||||
| 12 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 13 | presented to the family of Rhonda Krueger as an expression of | ||||||
| 14 | our deepest sympathy. | ||||||
