| 1 | SENATE RESOLUTION | ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Marlin L. Reynolds of Milan, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on November 15, 2024; and | ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Marlin Reynolds, the son of Leo and Freda | ||||||
| 6 | (Miller) Reynolds, was born in Moline on August 16, 1944; he | ||||||
| 7 | served in the Army National Guard; and | ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Marlin Reynolds worked for the Rock Island County | ||||||
| 9 | Highway Department, retiring in 2017; he worked his family | ||||||
| 10 | farm his entire life, and he was lovingly working on his farm | ||||||
| 11 | at the time of his passing; and | ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Marlin Reynolds was a member of the Milan | ||||||
| 13 | American Legion, the National Rifle Association (NRA), and the | ||||||
| 14 | Rock Island County Farm Bureau, and he enjoyed collecting | ||||||
| 15 | Allis-Chalmers tractors; and | ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Marlin Reynolds was known for being able to fix | ||||||
| 17 | almost anything, and he was always willing to help his | ||||||
| 18 | neighbors; and | ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Marlin Reynolds was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 20 | parents; and | ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, Marlin Reynolds is survived by his sister, Margo | ||||||
| 2 | White; his niece, Teresa L. (Steven) Bradley; his nephews, | ||||||
| 3 | Todd L. (Crystal) White, Troy L. (Val) White, and Terry L. | ||||||
| 4 | (Chelle) White; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, John, | ||||||
| 5 | Sam, Josh, Kylee, Mason, Gavyn, Elethia, Brady, and Kristina; | ||||||
| 6 | therefore, be it | ||||||
| 7 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 8 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 9 | Marlin L. Reynolds and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
| 10 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
| 11 | further | ||||||
| 12 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 13 | presented to the family of Marlin Reynolds as an expression of | ||||||
| 14 | our deepest sympathy. | ||||||
