| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Errol |
| 4 | | Edward Usher of Ladyville, Belize, who passed away on October |
| 5 | | 14, 2025; and |
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Errol Usher was born on September 1, 1947, and he |
| 7 | | was raised by his grandparents, Epolita and Edward Usher; and |
| 8 | | WHEREAS, As the eldest sibling, Errol Usher led by |
| 9 | | example, instilling in his siblings the values of hard work, |
| 10 | | humor, and faith; and |
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Errol Usher was raised in Ladyville, and he |
| 12 | | dedicated much of his youth to helping his grandparents and |
| 13 | | parents on the family farm and at Usher's Bakery, a |
| 14 | | cornerstone of his community and a symbol of his family's |
| 15 | | commitment to service and entrepreneurship; and |
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Throughout his life, Errol Usher was known for |
| 17 | | his warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family, |
| 18 | | friends, and community; and |
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Errol Usher's life serves as a testament to the |
| 20 | | enduring power of faith, family, and perseverance, reflecting |

| 1 | | the highest values of community and service that transcend |
| 2 | | borders and generations; and |
| 3 | | WHEREAS, Errol Usher will be remembered for his |
| 4 | | compassion, humor, and integrity; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Errol Usher is survived by his daughter, Sandra |
| 6 | | Usher, and numerous friends and loved ones; therefore, be it |
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 8 | | HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 9 | | we mourn the passing of Errol Edward Usher and extend our |
| 10 | | sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew |
| 11 | | and loved him; and be it further |
| 12 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 13 | | presented to the family of Errol Usher as an expression of our |
| 14 | | deepest sympathy. |
