SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Deborah Mae "Debbie" Marion McKinley, who passed away on December 4, 2025; and

WHEREAS, Debbie McKinley was born to Dallas R. "Bob" and Marjorie J (Reay) Marion on September 27, 1962; and

WHEREAS, Debbie McKinley retired from the Springfield Park District after 30 years of service; and

WHEREAS, Debbie McKinley was always there for her family and friends, helping in any way she could; and

WHEREAS, Debbie McKinley was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; one niece and two nephews; and one sister-in-law; and

WHEREAS, Debbie McKinley is survived by her husband, Elliott; her children, Kayla and Travis; three grandchildren, Ian, Elizabeth, and Lola; her brothers, Gary and Mike; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Deborah Mae "Debbie" Marion McKinley and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Debbie McKinley as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
