| 1 | SENATE RESOLUTION | ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Christian James "CP" Pascente of | ||||||
| 4 | Johnsburg, who passed away on March 9, 2026; and | ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Christian Pascente, the son of James and Deana | ||||||
| 6 | Pascente, was born on May 9, 1994; he graduated from Illinois | ||||||
| 7 | State University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice; | ||||||
| 8 | and | ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Christian Pascente fulfilled his dream of serving | ||||||
| 10 | and protecting the community when he joined the Wauconda | ||||||
| 11 | Police Department in September 2022; he quickly became a | ||||||
| 12 | valued team member whose dedication, professionalism, and | ||||||
| 13 | commitment to helping others earned the respect of his fellow | ||||||
| 14 | officers and the appreciation of the community; and | ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Christian Pascente was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 16 | brothers, Nicholas and Anthony Pascente, and his grandfathers, | ||||||
| 17 | Vincent McEnaney, Christopher Pascente, and Siegmund | ||||||
| 18 | Frankenthor; and | ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Christian Pascente is survived by his parents; | ||||||
| 20 | his brother, Dominic Pascente; his grandmothers, Francine | ||||||
| 21 | McEnaney and Alice Frankenthor; and many aunts, uncles, and | ||||||
| |||||||

| 1 | cousins; therefore, be it | ||||||
| 2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 4 | Christian James "CP" Pascente and extend our sincere | ||||||
| 5 | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved | ||||||
| 6 | him; and be it further | ||||||
| 7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 8 | presented to the family of Christian Pascente as an expression | ||||||
| 9 | of our deepest sympathy. | ||||||
