| 4 | | "Section 5. The Child Care Act of 1969 is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Sections 3.02 and 9.1d as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 3.02. Psychology coursework; early childhood teacher |
| 8 | | qualifications. Introduction to psychology courses, childhood |
| 9 | | development courses, and child psychology courses provided in |
| 10 | | this State shall count toward the semester hours that an early |
| 11 | | childhood teacher must obtain to be qualified under 89 Ill. |
| 12 | | Adm. Code 407.140. The Department may adopt rules to |
| 13 | | administer this Section.

| 6 | | full and complete list of courses that qualify toward the |
| 7 | | attainment of the required qualifications for an early |
| 8 | | childhood teacher.". |
