AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3336 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3336, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
42, on page 38, by replacing lines 14 through 18 with the 
5following:
6    "(a-5) The requirements of this Section do not apply to 
7low-speed electric bicycles and low-speed gas bicycles. 
8However, to the extent that a low-speed electric bicycle or 
9low-speed gas bicycle is capable of and operating in excess of 
1028 miles per hour, that vehicle is considered a motor driven 
11cycle under this Code, and is subject to the requirements of 
12this Section.".
