    AN ACT concerning drug courts.

 
    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
 
represented in the General Assembly:


 
    Section 5. The Drug Court Treatment Act is amended  by 
adding Section 40 as follows:
 
    (730 ILCS 166/40  new)
    Sec. 40. Education seminars for judges. The Administrative 
Office of the Illinois Courts shall conduct education seminars 
for judges throughout the State on how to operate drug court 
programs with a specific emphasis on cases involving the 
illegal possession of methamphetamine.
 

    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on July
