| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2939 as follows:

| 3 | | on page 1, line 19, by replacing "residents." with "residents, |
| 4 | | the totality of which must be sufficient to ensure that no |
| 5 | | State appropriations are used to fund the costs of those |
| 6 | | students attending the Academy."; and
|
| 7 | | on page 1, line 22, after "grade.", by inserting, "No more than |
| 8 | | 25% of the Academy's student body may be composed of students |
| 9 | | who are not Illinois residents."; and
|
| 10 | | on page 2, line 6, by replacing "year" with "year and |
| 11 | | information demonstrating that students who are not Illinois |
| 12 | | residents have paid and will pay tuition, fees, and room and |
| 13 | | board costs sufficient to ensure that no State appropriations |
| 14 | | were used or will be used to fund the costs of those students |
| 15 | | attending the Academy".
