| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Waterway Act is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 1 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (615 ILCS 10/1) (from Ch. 19, par. 79) |
| 7 | | Sec. 1. A deep waterway shall be constructed from the the |
| 8 | | water power plant of the Sanitary District of Chicago, at or |
| 9 | | near Lockport, in the township of Lockport, in the County of |
| 10 | | Will, to a point in the Illinois River at or near Utica. Such |
| 11 | | waterway shall be known as "The Illinois Waterway." |
