| AN ACT concerning agriculture.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Farm Names Act is amended by adding Section |
| 5 |
| 5 as follows:
|

| Sec. 5. Electronic filing. If the office of the recorder of |
| 8 |
| the county in which a farm is located authorizes and provides |
| 9 |
| for the electronic payment of farm name recording fees and the |
| 10 |
| electronic receipt of documents, then the owner of a farm in |
| 11 |
| that county may file the farm's name and its description and |
| 12 |
| may pay farm name recording fees via the means authorized and |
| 13 |
| provided for by that office.

| 14 |
| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 15 |
| becoming law.
