AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4996 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4996, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
41, on page 23, in line 24, after "employs", by inserting "or 
5re-employs"; and
  
6on page 24, in line 2, after "annuitant.", by inserting "The 
7notice must include a copy of the contract of employment; if no 
8written contract of employment exists, then the notice must 
9specify the rate of compensation  and the anticipated length of 
10employment of that annuitant."; and


  
11on page 24, in lines 4 and 5, by deleting "that are contingent 
12upon the employment of that specific  annuitant"; and


 
13on page 24, in lines 13 and 14, by deleting "that are 
14contingent upon the employment of that specific  annuitant"; and

1on page 25, in lines 12 and 13, by deleting "that were 
2contingent upon the employment of that specific  annuitant"; and
 
3on page 25, in lines 21 and 22, by deleting "that are

5on page 26, in line 16, after "information", by inserting "as 
6reported by the employers"; and
 
7on page 26, in lines 24 and 25, by replacing "that were 
8contingent upon the employment of that specific  annuitant" with 
9". The System shall only be required to certify information 
10that is received from the employers"; and
 
11on page 27, in lines 5 and 6, by deleting "that are contingent 
12upon the employment of that specific  annuitant"; and
 
13on page 27, in line 11, after "that employment", by inserting 
14"in that academic year"; and
 
15on page 28, in lines 17 and 18, by changing "annual actuarially 
16assumed rate of return on investment" to "prescribed rate of 
17interest".
