          Appropriates $2,900,000 to the Department  on  Aging  for
      the  senior  citizen  "Meals  on  Wheels"  program. Effective
      immediately.

 1        AN ACT making  an  appropriation  to  the  Department  on
 2    Aging.
 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section 5. The sum of $2,900,000, or so much  thereof  as
 6    may  be necessary, is appropriated to the Department on Aging
 7    for the senior citizen "Meals on Wheels" program administered
 8    by the Department.
 9        Section 99. Effective date. This Act  takes  effect  upon
10    becoming law.
