 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 228
 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill  228  by  replacing
 3    the title with the following:
 4        "AN  ACT  to  amend  the  Workers'  Compensation  Act  by
 5    changing  Section 28."; and
 6    by  replacing  everything  after the enacting clause with the
 7    following:
 8        "Section 5.  The Workers' Compensation Act is amended  by
 9    changing Section 28 as follows:
10        (820 ILCS 305/28) (from Ch. 48, par. 138.28)
11        Sec.  28.  This Act applies shall apply to all accidental
12    injuries and deaths occurring on or after July 1, 1951.
