      215 ILCS 5/155.31 new
          Amends the  Illinois  Insurance  Code.   Adds  a  Section
      prohibiting discrimination related to domestic abuse.  Adds a
      Section caption only.

 1        AN  ACT  to  prohibit  discrimination related to domestic
 2    abuse with respect to insurance coverage,  amending  a  named
 3    Act.
 4        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 5    represented in the General Assembly:
 6        Section 5.  The Illinois Insurance  Code  is  amended  by
 7    adding Section 155.31 as follows:
 8        (215 ILCS 5/155.31 new)
 9        Sec.  155.31.  Discrimination  related  to domestic abuse
10    prohibited.
