      70 ILCS 3615/2.23         from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 702.23
          Amends the Regional Transportation Authority Act.   Makes
      a technical change in the Section concerning prompt payment.

 1        AN ACT to amend the Regional Transportation Authority Act
 2    by changing Section 2.23.
 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section 5.  The Regional Transportation Authority Act  is
 6    amended by changing Section 2.23 as follows:
 7        (70 ILCS 3615/2.23) (from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 702.23)
 8        Sec.  2.23.  Purchases made pursuant to this Act shall be
 9    made in compliance with the "Local Government Prompt  Payment
10    Act", approved by the Eighty-fourth General Assembly.
