 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 604
 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 604 on  page  2  by
 3    replacing lines 3 through 6 with the following:
 4        "Section  15.  Identification  of  suitable underutitized
 5    property.  The Task Force shall make recommendations  to  the
 6    Department   of   Central   Management   Services  concerning
 7    underutitized  State  property  that  is  suitable  for   the
 8    establishment of community food gardens."; and
 9    on page 3, line 3 by deleting "or"; and
10    on page 3, line 5 by replacing "gardens." with "gardens; or";
11    and
12    on  page  3,  by  inserting  immediately  below  line  5  the
13    following:
14             "(d)  donated   to  local  food  pantries,  homeless
15        shelters, or food banks.".
