          Appropriates $30,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the
      Chicago Park District for the purpose of training lifeguards.
      Effective July 1, 1997.

 1        AN  ACT  making  appropriations  to  the   Chicago   Park
 2    District.
 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section 5.  The amount of $30,000, or  so  much  of  that
 6    amount  as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
 7    Revenue Fund to the Chicago Park District for the purpose  of
 8    training lifeguards.
 9        Section  99.   Effective  date.  This Act takes effect on
10    July 1, 1997.
