 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1552
 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill  1552  on  page  4,
 3    line 33, after "payments" by inserting ", to the extent those
 4    determinations  or  settlements  satisfy  obligations  of the
 5    Fund, but the receiver shall not be bound in any way by those
 6    determinations  or  settlements  to  the  extent  that  there
 7    remains a claim in the estate for amounts in  excess  of  the
 8    payments by the Fund"; and
 9    on   page  5,  line  21,  by  replacing  "$50  million"  with
10    "$25,000,000 $50 million".
