Appropriates $200,170,500 to the Board of Trustees of
Southern Illinois University for the ordinary and contingent
expenses of the University. Effective July 1, 1997.

1 AN ACT making an appropriation to the Board of Trustees
2 of Southern Illinois University.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The following named sums, or so much thereof
6 as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and
7 purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the General
8 Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois
9 University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of
10 Southern Illinois University:
11 For Personal Services, including
12 payment to the University for personal
13 services costs incurred during the
14 fiscal year................................. $150,572,700
15 For State Contributions to Social Security.... 1,357,500
16 For Contractual Services...................... 18,210,400
17 For Travel.................................... 555,400
18 For Commodities............................... 1,631,700
19 For Equipment................................. 6,472,600
20 For Telecommunications Services............... 830,900
21 For Operation of Automotive Equipment......... 245,800
22 For Awards and Grants......................... 1,004,600
23 For Southern Illinois Collegiate
24 Common Market................................ 98,900
