          Makes appropriations or reappropriations or both  to  the
      Board  of  the Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan for fiscal
      year 1998. Effective July 1, 1997.

 1        AN ACT making appropriations.
 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:
 4        Section 1.  The sum of $17,324,300, or so much thereof as
 5    may  be  necessary,  is appropriated from the General Revenue
 6    Fund for payment to the Board  of  the  Comprehensive  Health
 7    Insurance  Plan  pursuant  to Section 12 of the Comprehensive
 8    Health Insurance Plan Act.
 9        Section 999.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect July
10    1, 1997.
