 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1951
 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 1951,  by  deleting
 3    everything  after  the  enacting  clause,  and  inserting the
 4    following:
 5        "Section 1.  The amount of $1  is  appropriated  for  the
 6    ordinary  and  contingent expenses of the Office of the State
 7    Fire Marshal.
 8        Section 999.  Effective date.  This Act takes  effect  on
 9    July 1, 1997.".
